Blood Moon Rising
This Conflux was host to an Elder Shifter that simply went by Coyote, and she was there to kick off the Blood Moon Rising holiday, where the last full moon of the year is celebrated via keeping a fire lit. Though all Bound are welcome to partake, only Shifters are permitted to feed the flames. Coyote showed up, and eventually crossed paths with local Shifters to arrange making sure the fire was lit.
A shifter named Rox also showed up a bit later and loudly proclaimed, “HELLO. MY NAME IS ROX, AND I FUCKED UP”. It would seem Rox messed up the holiday this year, and this year in penance arranged a crafting corner for decorations and wreaths to be created to adorn the fire site.
Fae, Fiero, and Guilds!
Adventures into the Fae Wilds continued and coordination with Fiero of the Artificers Hollow Guild bore new fruit. Bound came across a magic resistant leaf as well as a mask that was a mix of angelic and nightmare stuff.
That detail was eventually conveyed by a figure known simply as “Bunny” who…seems to be a Dream who has escaped the realm of Dream but seems generally well meaning for now.
In other good news, the cure for the first stages of Fae Madness was discovered, hopefully this will help out members of the community moving forward!
Dr. Rebecca also continues the very focused study on Buggles, bringing members of the Bound community along for the academic and exploratory ride.
Waking Dreams
There has been an uptick in incursions from both Dream and Nightmare. A Professor Wormswort worked with the Bound to scout out some Nightmare creatures who had come along with an incursion to the area. What began as an observation eventually resulted in said incursion being closed, stemming the tide of Nightmare.
Winter Market Day
Vesper, a Fae of the Winter court, was concerned about their cousin Perrin who has been missing. Normally not an issue but Perrin signed a contract with another vendor in the Everfrost exchange to work their booth. Vesper enlisted some of the local conflux to head to the Market and track down Perrin!
Mercy? No.
Saturday morning a pair of wrights entered the tavern in a bit of a panic, fleeing danger. The danger presented as Linus, who followed in not long after them. These two and their family had broken his Law, even after a warning. The Conflux watched as Linus dispatched the pair, laid small stones on their bodies, and observed the Reapers coming forward. Neither of them got back up, and Linus left after a brief discussion of what happened.
Home Security Hijinks
There was a curious sequence of events, wherein members of the Conflux were hired to ramp up security of an undead’s home because they continued to be subjected to theft. Not long after, an abyssal mermaid simply going by “Saul” arrived and was looking for help with a “job” on behalf of an unnamed “client”.
The job was to rob the same house that had been secured earlier. Members of the Conflux declined, though some accompanied him to “watch his back” but not actually participate. Saul did the job himself, in rather spectacularly poor fashion. After a lot of pain he acquired the object of the theft; a book of poetry.
Second Son
Badb, the Second Son of the Sons of Linus and first banshee, showed up. Badb has came to the ATL conflux for multiple reasons. Firstly, she’s heard her Father is in town and wanted to see him in the flesh while they were on the same continent.
More importantly, she heard that there is a murder problem – both Bound and Unbound – mounting in the area and she wants to figure out WTF is going on. She thinks that there may be one or more of the Bound and Free running around. She has also heard that a Berserker Beast got out of an Incursion that happened nearby, and she was worried about what would happen if it wandered across a Bound in a populated area.
Punter Jones!
Punter Jones, a figure of some mystery, challenged members of the Conflux to a scavenger hunt! In the Fae Wilds! Competing against Fae creatures! This was filled with just about us much chaos as you would expect. In the end though, the Bound triumphed over the animate plants they were competing against.
War, and Eternal Peace
How do you understand the mind of a traitor? You dive right in, or so Fat Baby proposed. Knowledge was sought and found as the mind of Dolos was explored, nooks and crannies all.
The Bound had a target. With intel from the raid on the Hunters last Conflux in hand and with information from Dolos and scouting efforts on behalf of the Conflux, the location of the bracelet that Linus had been seeking and that was central to the death of Lila had been located. Of note, the Hunters had a “null”, an Unbound who is able to literally nullify magic, which even gave Linus pause.
The Conflux moved out, with one team hitting the compound directly, and another team distracting the majority of the Hunter forces by hitting outpost after outpost in a brutal battle of endurance. The distraction team had to keep moving and keep the pressure up to keep the Null from returning to the compound. While the mission was in the end, successful, it came at significant cost. Multiple Bound had to roll with the reaper as Hunter reinforcements continued to pour into the battlefield.
Warren kept the pressure up and fought without pause, no doubt saving the lives of many others, but in the end his luck ran out.
The House always wins.

The Wild Hunt / Wilde Jagde
The trumpeting of horns found their way into Daniel-not-David’s divinations and mind. It was a little bit distracting. The Bound worked to help set up an anti-divination circle within his and Reis’s home so D-n-D could get some rest. This was merely a precursor though.
The Wilde Jagde, aka the Wild Hunt, was coming to this Conflux.
On the Saturday of the Conflux, the Erlking himself, leader of the Hunt, arrived to the blaring of horns through a rift right into the tavern, announcing the hunt and taking the bound on a test hunt of deercorn (half deer, half unicorn…good luck!)
A former member of the hunt, Ruby, later led the Bound into a memory of a prior hunt to prepare them for what was to come. That memory that they fought their way through re-enacting involved taking down a Ratking, a horrifying amalgam of many, many rats. Through grit, determination, and keeping it busy while enough power was gathered to actually breach its magical defenses, the Bound triumphed.
A Knight of the Winter Court showed up, bringing Bound to the Winter Library at the behest of Mab, to research and learn more about the Hunt. They discovered that the hunt keeps the fae Fae cities stable and prevents “the maw” from consuming portions of the material plane.
The time then came for the Erlking to return with the Covenant of the Wilde Jagd, the Contract for the Hunt itself. A great feast followed prepared by the Bound for the Erlking. All of this in preparation for the hunt itself, against a being known as a Rawhead. A being part flesh, part bone, and all hatred. It surrounded itself with a wall of bone, casting death from its fingertips as boney creatures crawled from the darkness to defend it.
Having experienced the memory of the former hunt, the Bound acted quickly to distract, draw forth energy, and breach this monster’s defenses as well to make an opening for the Erlking. Triumph was paired with exhaustion as the Erlking delivered the final blow to the Rawhead!
Bad Blood and Bitter Betrayal
The hands of a traitor had touched the Conflux, and Linus arrived seeking answers, and the bracelet that had been “gifted” to Lila. Since he had come last, the traitor was identified as a wolf shifter known as Dolos.
Not one to go quietly, Dolos arrived at the Conflux strapped with explosives in an attempt to deliver a final brutal farewell. The Bound however, acted quickly and Dolos was…not permitted to die. He was delivered into the hands of Linus.
Linus and several members of the Conflux dragged Dolos to face down Fat Baby, and the mental magics that followed were relentless in seeking the truth. Satisfied, Linus left Dolos in the hands of the Meeting of the Minds and Fat Baby and worked with the Conflux to scout out a nearby Hunter outpost.
Through diligent scouting and effort by the Bound, they were able to determine a path that would avoid patrols, and allowed them to strike the outpost that evening to devastating effect. After the fight, intel was discovered on one of the Hunter’s leadership, a clue to the location of the bracelet itself.
Spilling Some Tea
It’s Pete! The scholarly undead named Pete who had helped last Conflux started pete-ing around the Conflux. A bit eccentric but enjoyable nonetheless, he formed a fast friendship with a member of the Conflux, Warren.
Further, Fierro, a local Bound, sought some help with…personal affairs. Fiero is in trouble with his wife for bringing their daughter in the Fae Wilds behind her back. He wants to apologize and has just the thing in mind. It is, of course, in a hard to reach spot in the fae, because he hasn’t actually figured out what she’s really mad about.
Fae Wild Shenanigans
Fae Madness continues to be an issue, and continued research is being done on the subject. Understanding of the condition has increased and the Bound have advanced their knowledge, but will it be fast enough?
Other Fae Wilde adventures involved a pre-occupation with silk, whether it be pulled from worms or spiders. Regardless, collection of the substance proves difficult. Crystals were also gathered!
Of note also, Dr. Rebecca worked with members of the Conflux to seek out more buggles, but in doing so encountered more of the mysterious symbols they have encountered before, which are remarkably similar to the symbols that line each Bound’s soul record.
Concernin’ Incursion
Sometimes, the Fae Wilds come knocking. Sometimes, they come knocking at about the same time and heinous chaos ensues. Massive cassowary birds arrived and seemed conditionally aggressive, but also attempted to communicate via dance.
While this occurred, there was an incursion that saw a pack of ash wolves descend on the tavern area. It became quickly apparent that the wolves and birds were not allied in purpose as they began tearing each other and any Bound caught in the crossfire to pieces. Eventually after much work and a bit of daring, the incursions were closed.
Further concerns involved even more deadly produce, this time taking the form of a deadly pineapple! There was also an incursion of a glittering swarm of fae insects who were quickly handled with assistance from a member of the Common Goods.

Don’t Forget to Floss
The Bound at the September Conflux worked with Dr. Rebecca (Firstborn daughter of Yogan) to uncover the cure for Stage 1 of the Dentis Morbo (Tooth Fairy) disease. Through experimentation, the Bound helped Dr. Rebecca to create a repeatable Alchemical recipe, which Dr. Rebecca has agreed to formalize and add to the Atlanta Print Book.
Worse Than Cavities
Tooth Sprites started to attack the Conflux. The bound were able to track them back to a building where a tooth fariy was setting up its home. They also located a fae circle that was being maintained by something in the fae wilds that the tooth fairy had come from.
After some research the Bound figured out that there was a Tooth Fairy Hive in the fae wilds. A large collection of tooth fairies that had gained limited sentences and was able to open Fae portals into the material realm and starting to spread.
An undead scholar named Pete who had brought some of the Bound into the Fae wilds on Friday, mentioned knowing more about them and he had offered to give assistance in venturing to the Library to gather more information and a way to create a device that would be able to destroy the Hive.
After traveling to the Fae Wilds Library the Bound were able to get parts of a scroll that after translating was able to bring together the components for the Enchanted Device of Energy Concentration or as it was nicknamed, The Root Canal.
Emergency Dental Work
Guided by a ritual by Daniel Not David, the Bound were able to get deep into the center of the Hive and activate the device. Those who supported the ritual with Daniel Not David were – unfortunately – able to experience the mental fuckery that comes with divination. After it detonated the fae portal closed and the hive was destroyed, eliminating a large threat looming in the Fae Wilds.
Mysterious Bracelet
By following up on many leads with Linus, The Common Goods, Fat Baby and The Sons of Linus – the Bound discovered that the allegedly “cursed” bracelet that Lila was wearing when she was murdered and died her final Death has been swapped for a duplicate made of mundane materials. The exact whereabouts of the real bracelet – and what it actually does – remains a point of contention.
Two Faced Friends
The Bound were able to track some hunters back to their short term base of operations. There, they found damning evidence indicating that one of their own had betrayed them to the Hunters.
Further, Shifters and Drainers have continued to ‘go missing’ – but more likely just get totally murdered. At least six Bound have been confirmed permanently dead so far.
“Contactless” Delivery
Fat Baby led a group of Bound to rewrite the memories of a DoorDash driver who had delivered a meal to the August Conflux. The driver had been talking shit online. The Bound and Fat Baby rewrote the driver’s memories so that she would think it had been a dream brought on by the Georgia heat.
Wake Me Up When September Ends
Friday evening people started experiencing the sense of someone grasping for their minds. A 6th sense of a presence desperately reaching out. This culminated in Warren acting as a conduit for a figure known as Ward. Through a painful game (for Warren) of mental telephone, it was determined Ward had gotten his mind stranded in the Realm of Dreams and Nightmare. He needed help, and he would try to send more info but the desperate link was fading. They needed to research a ritual to anchor him to his body once again.
That night, people’s dreams were filled with desperate images and information sent by Ward from the Realm he was trapped in. Over the course of the day Bound pieced together the various dream seeds and discovered the location of Ward’s body. Through some quick thinking, a helpful uber driver, and a disregard for Ward’s home defenses…the Bound were able to enact a ritual to anchor Ward the Winter fae back to his now much dehydrated body.
Incursions, Fae Wilds, and Produce, Oh My!
The Coin and Sword Consortium continued contracting members of the Conflux to accomplish varied tasks. Adventures included things like Draguin Eggs, dealing with incursions, navigating through traps, and handling a place protected by plants. A Guarden, as it were.
And when it comes to produce, various animated foodstuffs of varying lethality decided to make their displease known! Don;t forget to eat/fight your veggies!
TENDEE!!!
During the last conflux, a distraught opossum shifter named Tendee came to their fellow bound to help recreate old times they had with their lost partner, Nugget. When freeing a tormented forest guardian and painting the dead wood wyrms controlling weren’t enough, Tendee asked for a moving image of Nugget inside a mirror sealed via Dreams and Nightmares.
The Bound braved the strange harsh smelling plane and fought off emotional whiplashes to complete the ritual. Tendee was overjoyed with the result and the fact they had made so many friends in such a short amount of time. Perhaps moving on wouldn’t be as hard if they weren’t alone.

Conflux July 25th 2025
Dreams and Nightmares
Friday night at Conflux proved to be interesting, as there was a Nightmare incursion and an easily eight foot monstrosity manifested outside the main tavern. Body shifting as it became accustomed to the material realm, a face a skull swathed in darkness and decked with horns. Truly a vision of Nightmare. It eventually vanished, but it was clear there was an Incursion. That rip in reality needed to be sealed.
Reis, at the urging of the seer Daniel-not-David, approached the Conflux with a member of the Meeting of the Minds. They would journey into one of his Nightmares and attempt to claim a portion of this Nightmare creature to use as a focus to truly send it from the material Realm. The nightmare that ended up being delved into was the final fight between the Sons of Linus against the now dead Ancient, Dracula. Though it was a hard fought battle, it was successful.
Item in hand, Fat Baby led the ritual to seal the Nightmare incursion. One portion of the Conflux engaged in physical battle and solved several issues within Nightmare. The others were pulled into a Nightmare realm to solve puzzles of their own; which is where they met an entity in a red mask. Their battle was one of the mind, and of wits. But they too were victorious, and this mysterious Red Man vanished back into Nightmare as all parties woke, victorious.
Fae Wilds and You
What are the Fae Wilds? A realm semi-mirroring our own, drenched in magic? To a degree. A place that is difficult to understand but brimming with power, and like fire it is as helpful as it is dangerous. So, why not jump in?
The Coin and Sword Consortium representative contracted members of the Conflux to go on some missions within the Fae Wilds. One of the key things that was learned here was; read your Contracts. They are life and death.
Bobby, a member of the Shapeshifter bloodline, was saved from the Fae Wilds. He suffered from a rather vicious case of Fae Madness, an affliction that can drive those who suffer it to behave unpredictably and often violently.
The Fae Wilds are also home to unusual creatures which had to be handled. This ranged from large Woofalos, to small and concerningly adorable Buggles (which deeply fascinated an Elementalist named Doctor Rebecca!), as well as…tooth fairies. A growing problem, a cavity on the Conflux, as it were.
Ancient History, Modern Day
Four Ancients, the first of their respective Bloodlines, visited this Conflux.
- Linus, of the Undead, brought a project to attempt to cool the air during the hot months that he foisted onto Yogan and other Bound present. He also brought games of strategy to test mettle and minds.
- Lila, of the Shapeshifters, was present for her bloodline and embodied the immortal party mom that she is. She was gifted a bracelet by someone, though reports vary as to who gave the gift.
- Yogan, of the Elementalists, had strong feelings about a work table being shit and worked with community members to improve it.
- Baba Yaga, of the Wrights, was seen banishing a member of the community with an offhand gesture. She also lent her aid in resolving some research into a growing Tooth Fairy infestation.
There was also a curious ritual that seemed to take place that involved three of the above Ancients. A small spoken contract that involved Linus presenting Yogan with bread and salt, and Yogan in turn handing over a decorated scroll tube, which Linus attached to his waist. Baba Yaga watched on, and her sigh was deep when she realized both Yogan and Linus’ hands were too dirty to properly cut the offered bread. Yes, it seems the Ancients can be catty.
Claimed by the Reaper: Lila
Tragedy struck, however. While the majority of the attendees were away pursuing a lead in the Fae Wilds, a coordinated Hunter attack hit the Conflux. The only people there were Lila and a handful of others. The storm of silver rounds was too much, and as the Bound returned from their mission, they returned to screams. Lila was executed in front of the tavern as the Conflux ran to help, but were too late. The reaction of the Bound could be summed up in one word: Vicious. No hunters survived.
The Reaper King – a mysterious Reaper wearing a crown and carrying a sword – reportedly offered Lila a coin with the gold Skull of Death on both sides instead of her die.
The House Always Wins.
