About Conflux
Conflux is a medium-touch urban fantasy adventure LARP.
Conflux is hosted by Fat Baby LARP, LLC: an events company named for the owner’s cat!

The in-game setting is modern-day urban fantasy, where player characters are the monsters: stalking the city streets to feed, keeping human hunters at bay, and fighting off greater bestial threats.
The game is constructed with an overarching plot experienced through modules in a ‘living world’, where player actions will have far-reaching consequences on the game environment.
What your characters do will forever alter the world around them.
Conflux aims to run 7 games per year: three exhilarating plot-heavy events, one summertime ‘beach episode’ event, followed by three more action-packed events. Each of these events will take place from Friday around 10pm and continue to Sunday morning until 10am at a Georgia state park group camp.
The state parks we anticipate hosting events at include Indian Springs, A.H. Stephens and F.D.R State Park. Additionally, the event coordinator intends to host fight practices, volunteer opportunities, and out-of-character community sessions outside of regular events.
A ‘Conflux’ is both the name of the game and also the way that we’ll refer to events in-play.
Please note that unless otherwise stated, all events are 18+.
What is a LARP?
A LARP – or Live Action Roleplay – is a type of game where players (LARPers) physically act out their characters’ actions in a fictional setting. There’s a lot of different LARPs in many kinds of settings with different levels of activity.
If you’re familiar with table-top roleplaying games (think Dungeons and Dragons), LARPing is basically like a table top where you get to actually do whatever nonsense your character is doing. If you’re familiar with videogames – imagine World of Warcraft – but where you actually physically have to fight the boss . To be clear though, we’re using foam covered sticks instead of swords – we’re not that hardcore.
